Cleaning of solar panels

Cleaning of solar panels

Solar panel cleaning is a service that IB REIN offers in Slovakia, Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic. Solar panels suffer most if we do not clean them at all. The result is inefficient energy processing and thus a drop in the profits that solar panels should produce.

IB REIN offers the professional cleaning of photovoltaic and solar panels in order to increase their efficiency. We are proud of our ecological approach, because we clean the solar panels using hot water. Our company’s high-pressure technology is state-of-the-art and hot-water pressure cleaners can produce enough water at a temperature to remove dust and stubborn insects and bird contamination from the surface of the solar panels.

We are not afraid of exposed terrain
Our company is not afraid of difficult terrain. It happens that solar panels are built on hillsides or on steep slopes. We are adapted to every cleaning operation. We can work without sources of electricity and water. We can bring these resources with us. We are able to use up to 700 metres of pressure hoses to reach the solar panels and clean them.

How often should the solar panels be cleaned
We would like to leave the frequency of solar panel cleaning up to our customer. We can only give you advice based on our experience. How often should the solar panels be washed? Everything depends on the environment where they are installed. For environments with many insects, birds and dust, we recommend cleaning once a year. We have experience with cleaning panels that have not been cleaned for 8 years! Indeed, the panels were very contaminated and inefficient.

Not a drop of chemicals on solar panels
By cleaning solar panels in nature, we don’t use a drop of chemicals. As mentioned above, we clean the solar panels with hot water. We have special telescopic rotary brushes that wash away stubborn dirt. In one day, we can wash approximately 4,000 square metres of panels.
